hi, just wondering if anyone could tell me if i can change the front oil seal on the block with out taking the motor out of the car and how hard it is to do. thanks ando

If you are talking about front crankshaft seal then yes you can do this without pulling the motor out. You need to remove all belts and fan. Then the harmonic balancer. The seal is actually in the aluminium front housing not the block.
Not a hard job and it takes about 2 hours depending on how fast you can work.
The seal can be bought from Nissan for $21.00 - I dont have the part number handy.

easy job to do, need to remove radiator etc

part costs 12.70 from bursons.

I did mine with the radiator in place. It is possible.
