GQ rear link End Dimensions

Post by lay80n »

Hi,

Can anyone measure the ID of a nissan rear link end? Or if you know it off your head even better. I have the bush measurements, just need to machine the new link ends to get the proper interference fit.

Cheers,

Layto....

The ends of the rear control arms. Need the ID so we can finish the links off and press the bushes in.

I use std nissan bushes. If you are only going to use cal bushes why not make them to suit? But if you ever need to fit a std nissan bush it will be loose. I would not go bigger then 50id but suit your self.

i´ve done 50.00, it is a lot of interferance but its not like you are pressing a peice of solid into it. you are pressing tube into tube so the interferance needs to be greater to generate a secure fit.
