Slip Yoke Dust Boot

Post by garrycol »

I have a one-off front drive shaft that is larger in diameter than standard. The builder put in an oil seal on the shaft to keep the grease in and the dirt out however it chews out after a few kms - even with the shaft greased up.

I am after a slip yoke dust boot to go on it but am having no luck - one end needs to have an inside dia of 2" (50mm) and the other end 2.5" (62mm) approx. Length needs to be about 4-6".

I have tried Hardy Spicer without any luck - any suggestions where I might get a boot.

Thanks

Garry

I used to use a dirt bike front shock boot, just slip it over and either zip tie or you can use stainless steel c.v straps.
