aircon problem

Post by 4wd_pig »

ive got a problem with my aircon in my gq 4.2 diesel.

the compressor will not kick in and the electric fan that should turn on when the aircon is engaged doesnt run at all. ive checked the fuses and there are no blowen fuses. i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to start or if someone could point me in the dirrection of a wiring diagram for the aircon unit?

I got mine done 2 months ago and it cost $500 odd, mainly because of some shagged lines and also cracked fittings on the condensor. Works great now!

the low pressure switch is normally located on the reciever dryer. just need to bridge the 2 wires on there together. this should then send direct power to your compressor
