Mate does your high beam light on the dash still work?

Do your back ground dash lights come on when you have your headlights on? What are your tail lights doing?

It is very likely to be your light switch stalk as in hi/low beam lever.
Cheers

Just pull the stalk off the stearing collum and give it a clean and clean the contacts with emery paper, piece off cake to do. Once you pull the stalk assembly there is a white/clear plastic on the back of it that can be pulled off (should be melted stalks holding it on kinda thing) under that are all the contacts. If you'r running higher powered headlights fit relays, it'll extend your switch's life span too.

I have similar problem except both lights turn off when high beam get's fired up. Have been too busy to look into it but I might get excited and check the stalk this week.
