OKOFFROAD, problems!

Post by crankycruiser »

anyone else had problems with okoffroad?

I have just purchased two sets of winch ropes and fairleads from them...

So i payed with a mates credit card... they told me to use pay pal as i wasnt the cardholder. so ok.. i use paypal... no worries...

then my mate gets 2 charges to his credit card, one from paypal and one from OKOR direct.... so i sent them an email to let them know...

and wouldnt ya know it... I havent been able to get a reply email for 2 weeks.....!

anyone else dealt with these guys? I thought they were supposed to be pretty good?

speak to your bank about the double charging, they should be able to help sort it out

get your mate to call the bank - they can reverse CC charges... paypal can also do it if you lodge a complaint with them... as i doubt after lodging a complaint you're going to see your order anytime soon - might as well get all your $$$ back and order elsewhere...

then again might be an innocent error... but if they aint answering, assume the worst.

I would be amazed if they didn't just sort it out for you. Get on the phone but don't worry about it too much yet, I would almost guarantee it is just an error.

I've got stuff from them before and no problems. It's probably just an honest mistake double charging you, I agree that no response to your email after 2 weeks is a bit average but they've probably got 500 emails coming in a day and it's possible they just missed yours. I'd try emailing again, but as said earlier, you can't beat a phone call for sorting something like this out.
