BEST SILICON ON TURBO MANIFOLD 80 SER

HI THERE I HAVE A CUSTOM TURBO MANIFOLD THAT ALL WAYS LEAKS
ITS MADE FROM 12MM PLATE ITS BEEN MILLED 3 TIMES WITH NO LUCK
ANYONE GOT ANY IDEARS HOWW TO SEAL IT UP THE BEST
IKNOW THE FOLLOWING ARE REQ ED
NEW GASKET ? STEEL PLATES OR PRESS STEEL WITH HOLES
SILICON ? LOCKTITE COPPER TYPE OR ANY THING ELES BETTER?
NOTE THE IS FOR A 1FZFE MOTOR 4.5 L RUNNING STRAIGHT GAS
ALL HELP IDEARS WOULD BE GREAT

you could try a plain copper gasket, it you already have one and its leaking try annealing it and bolting it back together

strange is leaking if its been milled 3 times... is the machine setup right or is it taking out material in the middle ? eg have you checked its flat

BUT THE LAST TIME IT WAS GREAT I PAID FOR IT THOUGH

Are the nuts still tight when it starts to leak, I had that problem with my setup at first.

It is being tightened to the correct factory torque settings, and the correct sequence?

std toyota gasket is sandwhich design / has expansion built in for alloy expansion and contraction.

i found on mine that i had to retension the studs every couple of months i did that for 3 or 4 times then it stayed good and didnt leak. i allso use the factory commetic gasket with ultra copper silicon . if it still leeks then the problem could be that it needs a bracket to support the manifold from the block to the manifold as there is a far bit of weight hanging on it and when it gets hot it destorts and then leeks.

i have removed the maniflod now
i have just got new factory gaskets steel press type
fitting up will be to factory specs and copper silicon
if there is a next time it will be copper
it has 2 brackets that hold turbo assembly so stress should not be a problem

You mention the manifold has been milled 3 times and still not great. Have you actually looked at the other side of the equation (didn't say head or turbo side) to ensure that both mating surfaces are dead flat. Have you also radiused the bolt holes to ensure any studs if you have any aren't pulling the hole edge up and causing a leak to start there.

We use locktite 5900 on any manifolds we are unsure of.
Wtb, 105 series rear tyre carrier, alloys and tyres.
