1hz engine id plate

Post by Z()LTAN »

Is there an id plate on the engine at all? I need to get the 1hz production number because there are differences in my engine to the standard one. Flywheel is a bit different and also uses a different thrust bearing.

Need to make sure i get the correct clutch for the engine.

The 1HZ Engine Repair Manual only shows an engine serial number as 'Identification Information'.

It is located on the left/rear of the engine, and it looks from the drawing that it is on the side of the block, somewhere around the dip stick.
