hey guys wondering if i have missed sumthin. and if anyone could point me in the right direction.

fuel gauge in my troll was working. done a cab swap from 89 gq wagon to 98 gq ute. i realise there is diffent plugs between years but most of the wire colores were the same. got everythin working ecept the damn fuel gauge.
same rule applies same colour wires goin them correctly but still get nothin :? :?
any one help. i can giv more info if there is any :|

If you have or can get a hold of a multimeter, test both ends of the wire for continuity. Failing that, try running a jump wire direct from the pick up to the instrument cluster. Then you can rule things out back from there.
