what clutch and flywheel to use on v8 304
I'm building a hilux with a 304 efi and want to know what people are using or info on what type of clutch has anyone used http://www.sunburybrakes.com.au/index.htm flywheels and pressure plate or should i just go for Holden flywheel and pressure plate am using a vs v8 SS motor
marks adapters recommends standard holden clutch in landcruiser application. When I replaced the clutch the idiots put a heavy duty one in and was useless compared to the standard... cant exlpain it though. Would therefore go standard flywheel too. Not sure what you would achieve going for something else... if it fits in the adapter set up use the clutch from the holden/donor vehicle...
even when you spell out commonsense to the RTA they still ignore it!
Re: what clutch and flywheel to use on v8 304
i know nothing about holden v8s but i bought a clutch for my girlfriend from sunbury brakes and they were a good mob to deal with. Fast delivery no fuss etc.
At first I thought it was a sea anemone, upon closer inspection I realised it was a funky ball of tits from outer space.
Re: what clutch and flywheel to use on v8 304
i might go with sunbury clutch as i can't find a flywheel from a wrecker and holden don't have any more stock would a billett steel be good as they are lighter aswell

A lighther flywheel will allow the engine to stall easier when off road.bundy4x4 wrote:i might go with sunbury clutch as i can't find a flywheel from a wrecker and holden don't have any more stock would a billett steel be good as they are lighter aswell
