guard cut

Post by davejb »

Some pics of my rear guards during cutting. Trim the plastic mould at the front of the rear guards, control arm spacers on the front radius arms and 34inch jt2's fit without rubbing

i cut mine while they were on the car. just pull out the plastic inner guard, tape guard so paint dosen't scratch mark out 10mm too small. cut then work backwards and fowards bending the edge more and more each time with multigrips or a shifter, till even and round. touch up, or as i did cover with a shite load of rustproofer, and install black flare rubber. there are two sorts of rubber one thet bolts vertically and one thet bolts horizontally. get the horizontal one. i needeed it for my 15 x 10's with 35.s, and needed to widen it with a strip of rubber for my 38.5's

cheers
