hey guys my suburbanite bitchuman crawler (XR6 BA falcon05) has a rattly cat cover on it and wont tighten up can i just take it off or will i need to put a new one back on cheers, steve
i dont naturaly look this bad work done it to me

I think you could safely throw the heat shield away but the usual go is to put a BF hoseclamp around them and get rid of the rattle that way.

I would keep the shield. They get Sh!t hot.
Use the clamp method or a dop of weld as required.

clamp sounds good , s/steel one would be the best i would presume and yep it gets sh@t hot alright just ask my fingures :bad-words: lol, thanks guys cheers

i usually give the heat shields a tap with a hammer or just tweak it with some pliers to distort it slightly.
sometimes works sometimes doesn't
