Suspension sag!

Post by 2HI4U »

With having lights and winch on the front, it sags heaps and is not overly balance. Currently got 5 inch lift front and rear. Does anyone have any ways to improve the balance, Was thinking doing 6 inch lift in the front???

Help needed cheers!

So this means you aren't 2HI4Us any more hey :D

Nah, serious I have a wizard 7" kit, 3" body lift and she sits level all round. I have ARB deluxe winch bar, 9000lb low mount, 2 cibbie super oscars, 2 IPF's and dual batteries.

No dramas at all.

Go the wizard kit and GO BIGGER

Hey there 81gq,
What size tyres do you run????

The reason I ask is that I am desperately seeking a measurement to find out what sort of lift my truck has in it.

Do you reckon you would be able to take a tape measure to your beast at some time?

Maybe just measure from the ground up to thru the wheel centre line to the bottom of the lip on the front guard???

I am spose to have about 6" lift with 2" body lift but am sure it is nowhere near this.

Would really help me out if ya could

Cheers
Brian.

I run 35's atm, With a three inch body, does it feel unstable of road, cause i like height, but know from seeing other high lifted patrols there arn't that terrific off-road.

Measure spring length loaded to compare and post it to check lift

Also difference rim to guard front and rear. Front on Lwb normally 10 to 15 lower to about level to -10mm on Swb.
