Removing lower gear in transfer

Post by DeWsE »

Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the lower output gear from main shaft. IE what side? The flange side or the other?

I had to set it up with the gear resting on a few wooden blocks then knock the shaft down with a hammer and an alloy dolly, it came off easy with no damage, just take it easy
