maybe fuel is being starved in low range?

i've noticed with the GUs that the guys have here is that the filter in the injecter pump keeps getting clogged up with shit and starving the fuel

I've found with my GU coil cab that the factory turbo takes a bit to get spooled up from a standing start. If you give it a bit of time it'll come on song for ya. You'll notice a fair difference just playing with the fuel and boost settings as well.

The factory turbo is a pile of sh!t, they need mods before they will make good power without big EGTs.

A mate of mine has a factory intercooled GU ute
3 inch exhaust
Bigger  injectors
been retuned and a max of 14psi (factory is about 8psi )
He said thats the max u can go with out changing the intercooler etc.
It will easily cruise around town in 5th gear on 800rpm and pulls strong from 1500rpm :finger:
