torquer camshafts G13's
torquer camshafts G13's
I need to change my cam, as the Barina/Swift has wrong cam , cant work my Sierra dizzy with it, bummer. I have my old G13A camshaft, but its not looking too good, scratches and pitting, etc. It has been suggested, by some, that now is good time to fit a more torquey camshaft. 4 questions 1: are all the G13 cams interchangeable(ie only the dizzy drive differs)? 2: where, what and how much are better cams? 3 if cam is upgraded, do you need to change rocker arms etc? 4 is it better to get a standard, new or 2nd hand, camshaft?? christover

overkill wrote:I would suggest using a new cam and you shouldn't have to modifie anything to run it. I think the cams are different in some models as I run a swift 13a engine but didn't have to change the cam to run the right angle disi.
maybe its because its a tbi version? it has no gear on the end, just a keyway thing. my g13a has a gear on the end. thanks bud, christover
