Where to buy winch rope in the USA

Post by MKPatrolGuy »

My mate is in the US at the moment and has just emailed me to find out where he can go and get some winch rope from while he is there?

Somewhere between LA and San Francisco in California, Where he can just walk in off the street.

Thanks

any industrial lifting place should be able to sort out a dyneema / plasma type rope suitable for winching, but would not think the price would be that much better as we have manafacturers in this part of the world that do pretty good prices.

what size is he after?

Kewl, we are after 3/8" or 9.5mm, give or take. Want to put 50 odd metres on the high mount and from what I have read 5/16" isn't rated high enough for the CCDA events.
