Resetting ECM

Post by troyster »

I was reading on another site (Ausjeep) about resetting ECU/ECMs after modifying exhausts/air intakes etc, so that it takes into account the new changes. For the jeep they say disconnect the battery and turn the ignition to remove residual power/current. Reconnect and drive normally for 15mins to allow it to gather new settings.

Does this work for a 90 sierra??
