GQ SWB gearbox packers?

Post by Screwy »

Got 89 SWB TB42 GQ 5 speed manuel....

Put 2 inch coils and 33's in, now i have the slightest Vibration at about 30kms and i have also got a larger one around the 100km mark.

ive heard that putting gearbox packers in to lower the transfer crossmember gets rid of this vibration.....

How thick to the spacers want to be? 6mm? 8mm? less?

cheers guys

screwy

screwy on 2inch lift u should get away with 6mm.. probly best option for daily drive road car vibe fixes.. if u gunna buy a kit, get the 6mm kit and if u find u need more just use a few washers either side of the plate..u should be ok with 6mm though
