Reverse switch

Post by mike »

My reverse swith is Fubar'd. I've replaced the bit that screws into the gearbox with no joy. I'm told that from here it's a pull the gearbox out and apart to fix. I've bodge'd a switch off the gearstick but this is less than ideal.
Does anyone have any thought/experience?

dice it and manually switch it off the dash?

failing that, a limit in the reverse channel at the stick works for me..

nup just do what it sounds like you have done. get a little limit switch like pinball said and mount it to a bit of tin, then tech screw in place, worked for me.

ok so I added nothing new ;)

enjoy
