Can a cardin joint be re-built? mine is making nasty tink tink noises and the occasional crunch it has a small amount of movement in the cage (probably 1-2 mm)

Yep, it depends on what worn though, especially the ball joint in the middle.

a bit tricky you can buy a non roller bearing center ball its solid brass i used to make drivesharfts dont use hammer and punch to fit the new unis use a hand press or vice :D

Got a quote today from hardie spicer $250 which is new unis and new centre kit fitted. Not to bad really!!

if you dont have the tools and i dont know how good your mech. skill is get it done :D i would only do mine because if done 100th in the past but if want a go just post it :D
