Assuming it's the detroit type locker and it's only short trips between tracks etc. it shouldn't be a problem. Mate of mine has detroits front and rear, the rear has not given him any issues so far.... As long as you can get used to driving with one.....

ive got a lokka in my paj - i run in 4L no hubs locked no worries - awesome for spraying mud at people and have used 2H with hubs locked to travel between mud holes - again no worries, i do notice the steering is very similar in both 4H&L and 2H (hubs locked) ie it will pull the steering back suddenly if let go whilst turning and very heavy to turn, but thats the trait of the lokka.

else for $650 bucks and install yourself - cheap option for a good result.

I'd be interested to know how you find it in the bush and on the road. What brand you had installed and where you had it installed.

2 wheel drive with hubs locked should not damage it, but I take out the hubs because the clicking drives me nuts. Does not click in 4WD.
This is with the Lokka.

thanks guys

it is a Lokka locker and i was mainly interested in leaving hubs locked and driving in 2H between tracks aswell the major concern was on the bitumen in 2h and hubs locked

blkmav
brought off 4wdsystems for $519 landed at my door and then since i didn't have the tools or experince had installed in melton for $330 wich to me was cheap as i had no idea.

so for the minimal testing i have given it is great will let you know more once i get out for a decent day trip.
