anyone tell me what i should expect to pay for a crankshaft to suit a 3L?

Just buy an import engine mate it will work out the same I think.
I take it you must have one of the early 89 luxes. the 2.8 motor in them were prone to crank problems if you didn’t service them dead on 5000km it was look out

the 2.8 litre (3L) was in luxes from 89 through to 97. i would say a crankshaft would be relitively easy to get

Nah i have 91 Lux. The crank is damaged where the key sits in it for the harmonic balancer. What about $$$$.....anyone

you could even get the crank metal sprayed and the keyway re cut there is a place in sydney that do it.
