Could any one tell me if they have used modified Range Rover or Discovery Prop Shafts in place of the double cardan arrangement on the front of a Stage 1 Series 3. I have a Range Rover rear prop shaft that I can shorten an d the LT95 flange so it will all fit but I am reluctant to go to the trouble of modifying it all if it will end up falling out at 120 kph. Rover while they have done some really stupid things over the years used the double cardan arrangement for a reason I guess.
Has anyone had first hand experience with this Im not sure whether to replace the shaft with a new standard one or go down this path.
Do the standard ones actually give that much trouble mine seems ok but I just like to be prepared?
Thanks in advance
