mine has the wishy washy poo ones - 94 model gen III i think.
I think, and it hurts, but i think they came std on the Gen II's and they definately came on the Gen I luxes. definately cannot be gaurenteed.
Seen a few luxes with these. The only problem is that the mount is very low to the ground, the lowest point bar the pumpkin by memory and apparently get knocked about, ending in broken welds and dropping shocks, bending them. Reinforcement could help.

GU 4.2 TD Garrett BB Hi-flow, M8274 + Bells & Whistles with plenty of fruit still on the list!

yeah you're right there mate. Earlier gen 1 luxes' (like Aza's) had shocks mounted in this / \ arrangement. personally, i would keep the diff you have now, as its probably stronger. get some of these

easier than swapping for an older diff

indubitably
u dont need to swap the diff..... its just a differnt shaped u bolt plate... similar desisgn to the ones on 75 series.... then the top mounts are just bits of threaded pipe running though the crossmember, then welded... really simple..De-lux wrote:yeah you're right there mate.
