Anyone had thier 3 way fridge regassed in Melbourne ?

turnit upside down for about 5 to 10 minutes switched off turn over leave for 5 then try it again worked for mine
also does it smell like strong bleach if so then it needs repair otherwise the wiring may be dodgy or elements rs try it on gas and see how it goes

When left standing for a while, the constituent liquids (IIRC, ammonia, bromine and water) seperate out of solution.
There is a procedure (a least with Electrolux's, should work the same with other absorbtion type fridges) where you tip onto one side (i think the reactor side), then onto the top, then onto the next side, pausing at each stage till the gurgling stops. Tip back onto a top corner, and shake the bejesus out of it for about a minute, then slowly stand upright and let stand for a bit, (again at least until all the gurfling has stopped) then turn on.
As cooter said, you'll know if it has a leak from the ammonia smell
