Mystery LPG parts

Post by DIRTY ROCK STAR »

Can someone help me identify these mystery LPG parts...

Im wondering if its a Mixer or a pump or what?
and if the other is a solenoid from an LPG kit or something else??

Trying to piece together a cheap LPG kit for my 40 and got these from a mates shed they have been sittingfor a few years...
also, how many beers do you think they are worth??

thanks

Ok, the top one looks like a landi converter if its ok condition wise it will work with the right mixer probably need a rebuild - should be free or 1 beer max, second is just a starter solenoid - no good to you.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

Yeah the landi will need a rebuild, have to replace both diaphrams, o rings and seals - should cost you about $40 in parts and take you an hour max.

I paid $20 off ebay for 3 of those Landi's in the same nick - so I yeah a beer or $5.

Just on that what is the number cast into the converter should be something like 80LE or 80SE or 80 - any of those should be ok - how big is the engine in your 40 ?

Gas cut offs that I have seen don't look like that - more like a dual battery style solinoid

The second item is just a relay (could be 100 amp) that you would use on say a dual batt set up, it has nothing to do with a LPG system.
