BJ73 Diff Centre into 80 series

Post by keencdk »

Hi guys,

I currently have a BJ73 with RD33 ARB Diff Locker (changed carrier bearings), which is also able to be used in the 80 series, installed in the 73.

I am now looking to buy an 80 series cruiser (hzj80) and want to know how easy it will be to swap the diff locker into the 80.

Is it possible to just swap the diff centres (cheap and easy) or do I need to remove the locker from the 73 diff and replace with the original parts, then install the locker into the 80?

Thanks

Craig

It will bolt straight in the the back all that needs changing could be the pinion flanges may need to be swapped as the drive shaft bolt pattern may be different.
