towbar wire codes

i can't find the right wiring color codes specific for a towbar. even looked on the net under "towbar wiring standards" and all i got was BS.

white = earth
black =
yellow =
blue =
green =
red = brake light

can anyone help me out here.
i don't need no stinking quote for my sig. line!

white = earth
black = reverse
yellow = left hand turn
blue = service brakes (electric brake controller)
green = right hand turn
red = brake light

Should be another for rear lamps i would think....brown?

Don't know about the black and blue wires, but the other colours are what I have used.

I've not wired trailer brakes or reversing lights. But tail lights, brake lights and indicators, the colours are what I used.

Have you got an automotive test lamp or anything? thats the easiest way to confirm what each does.

The colours i listed yesterday were from the narva site and matched the wiring of the tjm harness i picked up.
