How much for Sunraysia's for 100 series?

Post by Kramer »

Went to tyrepower yesterday looking for some sunny's for my solid axle 100 series, need 16 inch i was told, and they want $100 each  I used to be able to get 15x8 inch sunnys for my 60 for $45ea new!

How much should I pay for rims?

Might wait till some come up here again!

Yeah, when I had my 100 series I had the same problem. I wanted 8" wide rims cause i only had the skinny 6".

After similar problems i ended going to the local Toyota dealer to check out their price on standard 8" steel rims ......$250!!!!! The GXL alloys were the same price!! I asked what gives and the bloke behind the counter said that all cruisers come from japan with steel wheels and the alloys are put on locally.

So i asked if they all come with steel wheels what happens to them when the alloys are fitted. I was given the blokes phone number who changes them. I walked away with 4 rims for $200 and he walked away with $200 in his back pocket.

Maybe you might have the same luck!
