i like the way your snorkel is done though, looks good
Hoonz thats a classy setup alright!
What are the specs?
I suspect the 8 inch cyclone or is it a 10?
What diameter is the snorkel tube.
It's almost exactly what I was looking to achieve for mine but I had not thought of mounting it width ways at the back, great spot!. Does your car have a bodylift?
Mate it's a credit to ingenuity and would flow as much and probably more than any oiled filter too I guess.

yeh just an 8" no body lift 3" snorkle tube
don't know exactally how much it flows but its more then the stock airfilter
only problem i have with it is the supercharger whines 10x as loud now back through the snorkle

Half your luck needing to put up with supercharger whine
What boost are you running and could you pull redline easily?
Did you try the next size up?
Do you think there is enough room to fit the 10inch one in?
They also make a nice plastic one that is small and flows heaps but the exhaust worries me.
Anyway Hoonz thanks for the help and sorry for all the Qs, your answers are much appreciated.
cheers fnq

soon as i finish buildin up the v8 i won't have to put up with it! ehehe
it'll be forsale then :p
What boost are you running and could you pull redline easily?
standard boost prolly bout 8-9psi ... i havn't put a guage on it
it pulls redline 1st 2nd 3rd easily with the 33s on 4th and 5th its very lacking in top end performance but once up to speed theres no stopping it
it'll do 170 but take forever to get there
Did you try the next size up? nope
Do you think there is enough room to fit the 10inch one in? nope if i give it boot fulls it torques over enough to slightly tap the bonnet
