Theres a thread around here somewhere about rebuilding them.
I got mine done on my old GQ SWB TD42. Didnt cost that much and was easy to do. I brought a piston rebuild kit from Nissan=$50(approx) and had the cylinder honed and re-sleved with a stainless sleve for about 40-50bucks. And did the removal and install myself.
Only problem I had was undoing the pipe fitting. I needed one of those ring spanners with what looks like a bit cut out.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
ok after putting a new secondary clyinder and did the master cylinder its going great now,
my new problem is the motor suposed to be runing when you bleed the clutch ?????????
as it is i bleeded clutch without running i know the servo works fine but whats happerning now is you can change 1-2 clucth is nice and soft no problems but going 2-3-4 clucth become hard, soon as you take it out of gear slowing for the lights clutch becomes soft onces again untill changinh 2-3-4,
all help with be great

To be honest neither do I, I know that power assist brakes don't need a running engine so I would suspect not. These last 15 years or so who knows what complicating technology they added.
In the GUs I understand there is an inline one way air valve looks like a snake swallowed a rat so I have been told. If it fails then vacume can play up. Think it would be on a GQ also.
How many pumps do you get at a fast idle in neutral?
