lost the ball bearing for the 4wd switch out of the transfer any ideas ? what size is it . cheers ron

91 sierra pulled the transfer case out to fit gears was cleaning it on the front lawn . lost

Measure the hole it drops in .... Its about 8mm I think, use an allan key for sizing.

Take the case to the baring shop and see what fits in the hole. BTW there is two more BB in there too, all the same size by the looks of it.

Or leave the center one out and have 2-low capability (but a funky shift pattern)

gearmaster with the 31'' tyres 100k 5gear just over 3000 rpm low range is unreal . stuff i use to do in 1st now 3rd /4. cheers ron

tried 3 sizes today 8mm no go' 9mm no go starting to panic;10mm did the job. cheers ron

I tell a lie tightened it up light stays on tried 9mm dont work so 9.5mm is the go is that3/8 :?: cheers ron

3/8 is close to 9.5mm but being a jap box i thought it would have been metric?

All the screwing and unscrewing broke the wire at the base .cut it back with side cutters resolded drop in 3/8 or 9.5 now it works .moral to this story dont loose the B.B.cheers ron
