Hi guys, I pulled the alloy bar off the front of my GQ today and noticed that the chassis rail on the drivers side has a plate spot welded in with 3 nuts pressed on.
There isn't one on the passenger side so I'm wondering if this is standard?
Thanks

Ahh.. Makes senseMadmac wrote:yep its standard, its what they bolt the factory tow/recovery hook too

Any tips for removing it?

From what I can see its only held in by 2 spot welds. So I guess just smash a chisel between the rail and the plate?
