Removing Diff oil-seal

Post by Andres »

Hey all, I'm having some trouble removing the diff/axle oil seal. And tricks/tips?

So far i'm jsut using the head of a bolt and trying to pull it out with that - but with no luck!

Cheers

we have found multigrips can work as well. you just need to use the side that is the most hooked. ignore the other side. put the end under the lip then pry and jimmy it. it'll come out.
