Another great weekend put on by the Canobolas 4wd club. Tracks were awsome ! Weather was great !! And the atmosphere amongst competitors and officials was really good. Had a fun weekend guiding the rattler through the stages. Cant wait till next years Toperi Challenge , best event on the calander.

The Motorex 4x4 Club from Bathurst had a blast driving the tracks. Big thanks to the Brindabella Club for the weekend. Cant wait to come back and give the 4bys another workout. Definately well worth the drive down.

Yea it is a full floater, was trying to get up a rock step when it went bang. Running 38's with ARB air lockers.Been running the 38's for last 2 years with no problems until now, hence looking to upgrade axles. It was a clean break / shear where the axle meets the end flange.

hi, was out 4wdriving today and broke a rear axle, therefore am looking at upgrading the rear axles on my bj42 . was wanting to know who makes and sells stronger axles and if anybody is using them.

hi, i had the same problem with my 40 when i did the same mods. i couldnt find another tailshaft to suit and anything custom made was going to cost the earth. i ended up having a new shaft made using some 65 and 50mm RHS that slid inside one another giving me over a foot of slip. works well and has ...

hi all, looking to upsize tyres and was planning to upgrade the rear brakes from drums to discs. the front is already disc. it is a bj42 1982. what options do i have to do this considering that i am still running the standard 40 series axles.

thanks for that BJ and bad_relig, much appreciated. the reason i asked was because my rear diff appears to be making a bad "wine" noise whan driving and i was thinking of replacing the crown wheel and pinion, but i think i will first try some thicker oil and see if that fixes it. hopefully!!
