This is great guys a good overall responce to my many questions.

So far it is looking that the 80 is ok to do the conversion kit as back lash will be improved Fuel savings will be minor, but then in wet conditions my daughter would be better of with it kept standard to retain AWD is this correct.

Mine is the STD setup, with a 90lt under the rearand the spare onthe roof when we go traveling around or in the back under the false floor.
As for the Injected I just could not justify the extra $$$ for such a small gain.

deegeegee.... i belive that the reason for the improvement once you fitted the snorkel is AIR flow. Air flow on a 100 series is very critical so I have been told to lean and you will have problems valves. Once again I am no expert but has something to do with tappet adjustment. As for the extractors ...

yah by the sounds of it you are very happy with the $5000 of mods done but to me it is better spent on the road touring around and changing down a few times on the hills. I will do the extractors and may go down a size or 2 in the tyres for a bit more pulling power. Most of what I will be doing will ...

thanks guys for th reply, power at low down is where the cruiser lacks it sees a hill and looses power, the van is only a 16' and weighs around 1600kg so there is not a lot of weight there. I still belive that a lot of the problem is in the Gas conversion and by opening the main valve 1/8 - 1/4 ...
