Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My 4Y (4Runner, 89) gets about 20L/100km. about 230 from a tank.

Coming out as soon as I can afford it. 3RZ going in.

These are from the way i thought they were.

84/85 - Solid Axle, leaves all round. 2.2D (L), 2.4D (2L), 2L Petrol (3y-c), 2.2L petrol (4y-c)

86-89 - Solid leaves rear, IFS torsion bar front. Same motor options as above.

The L and 3Y-C were in the 84/5 models, then with IFS they had 4Y-C and 2L ...

3RZ-FE. (2.7L)

-Bulletproof
-Good on fuel
-Pretty punchy
-Easiest conversion
-Less chance of breaking other components (Drivetrain etc)

We have them in our worktrucks and they are great. (4x2 Traybacks + gear - aprox 200 kg). They never miss a beat and we get about 490k per tank (65L) - not driven ...

Pretty common with runners, my old 84 used to do and my current 89 does too...

Just rocking it back and forth in first and reverse with pressure on the stick would get it. It may take a couple of minutes sometimes, but it would work.

Failing all else, get it on a hoist and try it with no strain ...

comm motors go from 127kw for a vn up up to (dont quote me)147 for the vs-vt models.torque is greater than the 3.0 toy but the vehicle he owns is a first gen that only came with 4 cylinders.so anything is an improvement. :!: :)
