If you stick the lock rite in the front it won't effect the daily driving, only working when the hubs are locked (or the diff, if it's got ADD). I had this setup with my 4Runner, eventually putting an Air Locker in the rear aswell. It will make a huge difference offroad, only downside you might ...

You'd wanna keep the torsion bar winding to a minimum (1" at the most), because it actually increases the spring load and reduces the available flex. Twisty has the BJ spacers on his 4Runner, would be the best one to ask I think. You can get 4" spacer kits which don't change the ride/ travel, just ...

How does being at Eastern Creek affect entry fees?

Still per vehicle? How much roughly?

I may have converted more fans, this will be the selling point :)

Going by that, worst case would be slightly lower revs than a standard diesel, might need more gearchanging for hills if it's outside the powerband on the hwy.
It's unlikely to be really noticible.

I can't quote off-hand anything other than manual V6 (4.3), each engine had it's own ratio, and the auto models were different to the manuals.

I think the main difference is that Airflow is a one piece unit, whereas Safari has a seperate ram on top which can be turned around for mud, or replaced with a precleaner for dust, apart from that no real difference.

Just to keep the debate alive ;) That IFS kit is a straight lift kit, designed to gain height, all other considerations are secondary. To be fair in that comparison, the live axle swap should have had heavy duty standard height coils with six inch spacers, as that is effectively what was done with ...

The exact centre of your tyre should be where the wheel "turns" for steering. This line is traced from teh top and bottom swixel points. If it sits outward or inward from this then impacts will load the steering trying to turn the car. More force, more wear, poor handling. Paul Again, not an expert ...

The biggest limiting factor in the Prado is the upper ball joint, it binds before full droop is achieved, replace it with a heim joint, and get an extended travel coilover, and you're set :) For the record, with the standard suspension, removing the swaybar on a 95 series Prado won't improve the ...

They are definately prone to sagging, and you can wind them up easily enough (just remember to jack the vehicle up first because the adjustment bolt is very easy to strip) $800 is about average for torsion bars, but unless you have a steel bar and winch, I wouldn't bother with HD bars, I had them on ...

And are you using ball, or heim joints on the control arms?
