Thanks guys . I may have been off with the series 1 Paj but the *300 *has got bolt on BJ's.

NJ I was kinda expecting that I would need to change the bolts but wasn't sure how much longer the new High Tensile bolts would need to be.

May be a bad injector or filter or your counterbalance shaft belt broke.

My belt broke early & went under the camsaft belt.

Broke 4 lifters.
Lucky as it didn't bend the valves.

or if the clutch is new maybe it is loose????

A 4wd drive Kombi!! Thats what the l300 ute will look like.

If you get the diesel motors then it will be the injected motor already.

I suspect that I have the wrong size injectors in my car. A 2.5 TD.
I am also told that "heavy":? H/way driving can push my temp up & it will drop when backed off fairly readily because of the injector size.

Whats your thoughts on this anyone?

K Following on with the history of the Mits motors.
The 2.5 Deisel motor is based on the 2.6 petrol motor. If what I'm told is correct then the basic design & dimensions are the same.

If that's also the case with the gear boxes then the gears may be interchangable between the engine sizes.

Reading the article it says that it is aiming for extreme off roading markets

Theres no mention of the type of suspension it has as in Coil , IFS . Only that it has stability control.

If Coil does it have longer travel than the standard Pagero.

How big was the spacer & how much difference did it actually make to the vehicle capability.
