Will an auto elec be able to replace the teeth that engage the flywheel?
yes, the part your refering to is called the 'drive'
and they can usually be repaired but can always be replaced if they are too badly worn, cheaper than replacing the entire unit.

where are you located?

ur local auto sparky can easily overhaul it and if you remove and refit it will keep your costs down

or if you wanted to get a brand new 1 repco will be alot cheaper than nissan. or talk to your auto sparky as he can always supply you with one

the oil in ur ac compressor is a light blue colour, but should also have a green/yellow flurocent dye added into the system to help detect leaks. if it is indeed a compressor problem it is cheaper to replace the compressor rather than get it fully overhauled, unless you can re-fit the seals urself. ...

definatly don't go to ABS (especially @ brendale) as sjjenkin mentioned ABS serviced a wheel hub and failed to tighten the wheel bearing nut enough which caused my wheel to nearly come off, luckily the brake caliper held it on long enough for me to slow down from 100k/ph but yeah i will never be goi...

very interesting i c in ur signature u have a GU, i recently purchased an 89 TD42 gq wagon and have experienced the same problem. tell us some more details how many spotties in total, how many relays u have ect i've got 4 spotties on the front 1 relay per pair so 2 X relays sharing 1 common trigger ...

sounds to me mate that it's the electrical part of the ign switch i'd suggest taking the electrical part of the switch off and stick a screwdriver in it and test it that way. - process of elimination

if it's still a bit noisy most common faults are :
worn bushes
dry bushes
not enough grease

your first drive of camp road was amazing u didn't stop at all u just drove up, but it seemed to get progressivly worse from there second run took a bit longer and the third run we had to snatch u out due to ur clutch. but a good effort :D

i've got a 95 sierra and im looking to bolt on a set of 31"s
my question is if i get a 1lt transfer case will it provide enough gearing reduction to turn the 31's?
