i fitted an auto locker to the front of my gq but must have done something wrong,cause its always locked, but i just run with it now as i could not be bothered pulling it out.
At times its a bit hard to steer but i can live with it

hey ppl just snapped one of my rear shocks on my gq, and one on the front has started leaking and these shocks are only 3months old.

Was wondering what shocks ppl are running with 5"lift and superflex arms as im not happy with the shocks that are on it due to there weakness

i just fitted a dts kit to my 89 gq patrol with 400,000km on it and so far its loving it so much easier to drive most major hills i would be dropping it back to 4th gear sometimes 3rd but now it just cruises up in 5th

i have great flex in the back so you saying put harder springs in the back to put more pressure on the front when flexing ???? thats what i was thinkin cause the back flexes driving over a speed hump

i have superflexy dobbinsons all around so its not that. My pic on the left has the superflex arm with the superflexy coils all round and the back wheel is about to leave the ground and the front is not even tucking into the guard

but find you need a fair bit of weight on it too make it flex is this the same for the x link.
would it flex alot easier as im thinking of swapping to x link

i just brought a 10 gallon sandblaster of ebay too clean the chassic up so will pick it up this week and get the chassic clean this weekend hpefully

hey just fitted a new 4way return too centre toughdog steering stabilizer and when u turn it too the direction of the spring compressing it rubs and i notices no difference if steering quality any help anyone else notice no difference also is there any good steering setups out there
