Have a 93 turbo td42 auto and the auto is starting to slip after the new turbo was added just wondering what people have done to upgrade there autos as i have a camper aswell so looking to upgrade as much as i can,, can u tell me who you used and what sort of coin they charged as i have been told ...

i ve got a custom turbo, denco pump moded compensater shaft. 23 psi. pulls like a school boy from 1900 to 3000 on full boost.payed around the $2500 mark for the pump. loven life cant get enough

yeh he is right, I had dual batteries on my 4.5 before I got it converted to gas, so my converter was placed over the other side of the engine, and yes you can get a bigger sub tank and it will all work fine with out problems

I am currently in the proses of looking for a rear bar for my GU Wagon. I like the arb bars but the price is a bite dear that so just wondering if there are nice bars out there for a better price so if anybody could show me there bar and price that would be great

The oil return should go into the sump if you use a low mount turbo setup as the alternator drain is not low enough to gravity feed properly AFAIK.

Easy enough to get a bit of pipe welded onto the sump and you know it will be the best sulution.

As for water cooling, why not use it if you can? If ...

josh you seen my car at rd 2 in 07 when i was running two turbo's on my tb42 that are bigger than 1 td42 turbo and it came on that early it wasn't funny but it didn't run out but never finished tuning it. but yeah it'll never work. if you want a cheap way out of it get an xr6 turbo.

Will a gu 4.2 diesel turbo work on a gu 4.5 petrol??

Will get some photos up. there is no clearance in the bolt holes to move things around it hits the pipe by about 15mm its not even close

Bought a complete turbo kit from a 05 gu 4.2 but whilst installing it on a 93 gq the 3inch denco dump pipe hits on the oil pump release valve any ideas on various dump pipes to fit or someone who can make one on the sunshine coast??

When driving along the air con works on 1,2 and 3 but not at the right speed. But soon as u stop at lights or whatever the air con stops and no air at all comes out unless its on 4. Thanks for your comments above will check soon to see if its the resistor.

Have a problem with the fan switch on my gu. The swith only works on #4 but have checked all the wires they are fine so just wondering if u can replace the contacts or do u have to buy a new switch??

All done and the boys are havn a drink. Marshal dnf ss4. Spoony broke a rear tail shaft and has outside assis penalty. Sternbeck going well. It would be good to see you out there again Al, its good to have a break though.
