I used a Walbro pump again because of great results with them in the past. There were no mods necessary. I basically unbolted the old one, and put this one in its place. Its the easiest one i've ever fitted :) I bought it from Automotive Service Solutions (used to be called petroject) in brisbane ...

I thought of the 3.5 but heard they didn't fit so easy. I am happy with the smaller capacity anyway. I usually only mod 2.0ltrs so this is a big engine to me :) Unfortunately there is no real 'off the shelf parts' with the exception of internal engine mods, thanks to the 3000GT\Stealth engine! All ...

Turbo Pajero!

Finally did my 1st dyno run the other day and came back with higher numbers than i expected :) Its running about 19psi with relative low timing. 343hp@wheels (255kw). And the torque! 1987 N.M! (1465 lbf ft) I only had time for one run on the dyno as a monster winch challenge truck was being a hog ...

Is that the GTO/3000GT motor? - SO MANY people i talk to say it can't be done, and it's not worth it etc etc.. Do you take it offroad at all? The engine is 98 model Triton/Challenger. I was going to go the GTO motor but the twin turbo would have been too much hassle fitting. Single turbo was much ...

Thanks Andy :) Injectors are 550cc. It also has a Walbro 500hp fuel pump and a Sard type fuel reg. The engine is 98 model Triton/Challenger. I made all the manifolds and exhaust myself. It was my 1st time so whilst they are functional, they aren't has pretty as they could be haha. Car has a 2 in ...

That was my sweet Pajero! Finally got it (mostly) finished. Just finished running it in. Only has 14psi at the moment till i get my new wastegate spring to bring it up to 22 or so. Missed 4th gear on my only run of the night but still ran 14.6@97mph :) Can't wait for more! http://img265.imageshack ...

Yeah running an EMS ecu. And that seems to be the general concensus, that its a drop in job. Just means i'll have to remake my manifolds again haha. Fun Fun! I just bought a rather large turbo of ebay so this is turning into more of a beast as the days go on

Converting a 6G72 12V to 6G72 24V. Any big differences??

As the subjects suggests, does anyone know of any big differences between the 12 valve and the 24 valve engines? I have an NH Pajero which I just turboed. It blew a head gasket rather quickly (high km engine). The heads are old and cracked so I would rather out a newer engine in than find some more ...

haha got a few pics of it being built. Should have injectors, fuel pump and new regulator today so its almost complete. Just need to put new clutch in as the last one was slipping like crazy at 4psi! It also ran the injectors at 100% duty cycle at 4psi so you can see why i needed the bigger ones! :)

Mine is the V6 3.0L 6G72. The Stinger is made be EMS in Sydney and is a very popular ECU replacement in the turbo/import scene. Very cheap and very versatile. I have seen and installed many ECU's and none beat this yet! (IMHO). There is a link to EMS on this north Brisbane performance workshops site ...

Anyone know what injectors are a direct fit replacement for the 6G72? I need some around the 550cc mark.

What part of the mount are you breaking? Metal, bolts, rubber? I have had good success with getting standard mounts redone with urethane. Reduces a huge amount of movement!

Loved the fab work man! I gotta practise some more welding haha. Definately a good idea to go with full ECU replacement. Piggy backing is only good for minor mods and there is much more tunability in full aftermarket. Keen to know how your Haltech goes. I just wired up an EMS Stinger 4 (my favourite ...

There are some great Pajero manuals on this crazy Russian site. They all seem to be in english.

This is a link to their FTP area. Just keep clicking through folders till you find what you need!
