would attempt to do it yourself or are you just wanting someone to do it for you? It is a very labour intensive job hence the high labour cost. Its not a hard job, just messy and time consuming. im in WA too but sorry cant help with a price if someone does it for you

tube bar mounting

hey guys,

in the process of making some tube bars for my 80 series. got a 2" body lift in it so trying to find ways of mounting the tube bar while hiding the chassis rails...to some extent.

just wondering if people have some photos of there front or rear tube bars, also how they mounted them ...

as you know toyota ones are know to break, especially when running bigger tyres. could get high tensile ones i guess

just replace them with high tensile bolts with hex heads, still keep the cone washers and washer though. should do the trick, thats what i did on my 80

go for bendix 105 series pads, more pad surface area.

changing out the rotors is not all that difficult, if you have to do a service on your hubs may as well change the rotors if they are damaged. there is a good write up on offroad80s.com, check that out

hey fellas,

prob been done before but cant find too much on them.
wondering if anyone has any links to photos or has photos of some tube bars front/rear that would suit a 80 series, or any other 4x4 i guess.

there are heaps of blokes with 80s have cut their rear panels

that rear bar is from 4x4 labs in the states, seems like a good bar, more details about it on that ih8mud website
