I thought Jap R-spec cars also have a lot more engine/braking mods then the US R-spec cars.
In the Nissan 200SX's the Jap R-spec's have engine mods whereas the US R-spec's only had cosmetic changes.

would the ct20's of the prados be different to the ct20's in the surfs? different variations? like andrew said, i want more mid range oomph from the diesel... so the ct26 on the landcruiser would still probably be the best option... what do i want to achieve... the 1 million dollar question :twisted...

$600 was a guesstimate... but i know of a few places that rebuild them. (went through this with my other car... nissan 200sx... which was $800 just for rebuild) i think the biggest issue will be checking the seals... there are what is currently gone in my turbo.... shaft play can be checked. i will ...

Only if you do a 2in body lift that u might have stress on the front cv's, but but u can put a front diff spacer to lower it. ...

80 & 100 series turbo
Hi guys
I was doing a bit of searching and wanted to just make sure:
do both the 80 series and 100 series landcruisers run a ct26 turbo?
and if so, is it the same twin scroll ct26 on the st185 gt4 and mr2 turbo?
thanks
