Extractors and exhaust for 4.5 petrol ?

Just wondering if any of you with 4.5's, have gone down the extractors and exhaust route for a bit of extra power, and how much difference it made.

Re: gq diff vs gu diff

Ive heard they interchangeable as well. I was thinking of swaping my gq airlockers and 4.3's out and into my 4.5 GU to replace the open centres and 3.9's.

Re: TOPERI 2010 - 27th & 28th November

Dont change whats not broken.
Keep the layout the same, keep the club involvement the same, maybe just relax a bit on the vehical setups. We already have 1 Tuff Truck with the big money trucks, dont really need another 1. Keep it so the average joe in a club can build up something and have a go.

Car Trailer with removable flares

Anyone adapted their car trailer to have removable flares. I have to widen the trailer as im sick of changing the comp truck tyres over as their too wide to fit on.
Thinking or making my flares bolt on , removable, so i can run up over the tyres instead of having to make ramps over the flares.

Re: willowglen 2010

Question for Tony, or any competitors?

How tight do you allow the 37.5 " measure to be around the tyres.
Does it have to slip on easily or can it be a snug fit?

Re: TOPERI 2010 - 27th & 28th November

We decided not to allow snatching after the Zuk on stage three went from on all four wheels to completely on its roof under a tree in a split second, because of too much inertia when the vehicle being recovered is really hung up. The use of tree trunk protectors means vehicles are close together ...

How did you go? We had a nice 5 hour recovery on 3 trucks on the first track. ;)

Hey guys scores are up.
Just wondering why TLCC contacted some teams about their scores and not others. Im missing 10 points from 1 of my runs, this 10 points would have lifted my club from 8th to 7th place. Dont know what happened but will be writing an email to TLCC tonight.
