I'm going to start doing comps, all crawling stuff and was planning making something cheap to swap over before the event, and if it breaks or bends I can put my proper balanced shafts ...

Why make a dodgy unbalanceable SHS slip jointed shaft when you can buy a proper extra long splined slip joint?

If so, swap it and the coil for another one to try.
It's a points dizzy if that helps.

Ahh..OK... I've seen qwuite a few cheap electronic dissys that crap out when they get hot... ProComp and Mallory come to mind...
I'd still be going over the points ...

The last 253 in a Commo was about 1984 I think.
No way in hell it will pass in a 94 Lux in Ql;d on petrol or even dual fuel.
Straight LPG is the only way to get it approved... Either that or fit a later model EFI motor.

Free springs??? Rip a leaf or two out and see how they go... What have you got to lose?
Raised springs won't stop tyres scrubbing at full stuff though. You need bumpstop extensions for that or guard cutting.

I don't think we need to go as far log books this will make things too time consuming and costly. As well as the trucks are driven a lot more socially then in comps do you think the rolls that happen socially will be logged I don't think so.
Wouldn't proper scrutineering pickup on any (social ...

I originally looked in the 60 series bible before asking question but completely overlooked the very 1st link. Thanks to help, downloaded the 2H manual plus body manual.
I would have thought that the diodes would be able to handle the reverse polarity. Other things like like glow timer may be a bit ...

4runner pump should be fine with the 80 box but Falcon teardrop would be better.
Why the need for the 80 box? IFS lux/runner will turn 37's.

I thought it was quiet interesting at scrutineering, that the 'industry expert' testing wall thickness was also major sponsor handing out business cards.
So if I sponsor the event too can I get some custom made rules to benefit my business?
