I just went and tried the set up out again. Conclusion: need 80mm bump stop extension and need to move the shock over so it doesnt bind on the control arm some how as this is stopping the axle from dropping down more as you can see. there is still plenty of downtravel to be made once the shocks are ...

well i finished it off yesterday arvo, filled it with fluids and started her up. ther terra flex look much the same as the superior engineering ones. you get reat flex but a harsh ride unless the shackles are pinned closed.

engine is all wired up. all i am waiting on now is a new harmonic balancer and finding out where a vac hose goes. other than that once the balancer is in all i need to do is pop the radiator in and fill it up will coolant and engine oil and crank it over. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g121/bravo ...

drop shackles work well. or put a longer custom leaf pack in with fewer leaves and extended shackles. or even just extended shackles should help it flex more this will give a bit of lift to so you may need to get longer rear brake line.

engine is back in the car with a new exedy clutch and pressure plate.
all the extra bits will have to be hooked up next week after work as i will be down south this weekend. I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel

well finally got all the block back the other day after a 3 week holiday. well its been pretty easy only working on it and hour or so a day after work. the hardest part was getting the harmonic balancer bolt off. needed to borrow a 3/4 inch braker bar to get it to move. other than that its all been pretty easy. Also i picked up the head today and finished putting the ...

well i have mostly stripped the engine i just have the crank and pistons to remove. the head is off and getting a new casting and all the internals measured up to make sure they arent bent. once the block is seperated it will be sent off to be honed and cleaned, then a overhaul kit will be ordered ...

Well i found the problem, I removed the head and found that one of the combustion jets had fallen into the cylinder and caused major chaos. Ball joint spacers D22

Got a 2005 D22 navara and was wondering if anyone had fitted ball joint spacers to lift the front end. I was only going to lift it 40mm. I was thinking a spacer would be better than winding up the torsion bars.
Any thoughts?

Hello all
I want some new ratios for my cruiser but not sure what to get. As a stocker it had 4.11's running 31's, currently its still got the 4.11 on 33's but i am getting some 35's and need to change it for highway use. Should i get 4.88's or higher?
