For what reason do you want to twin turbo it and have a 400kW Bundera?

I had a 300kW, 520 Nm Bundera and in the end it wasn't the best idea, lots of power and poor stability arent much of a combo. I wish I would have used a surf, If so I probably would still own it.

I agree with IMPOSE, when I had my 1J Bundy 1st gear was useless on road with the R151, it would neraly result in a wheel stand everytime i took off :) If I had my time again id most probably use the R154, or maybe consider the R150, but def. not R151f.

I wanted to do the same thing to my bundy but ended up settling with a 1JZGTE. I would switch over to an R series box, will it be strong enough? Well that depends on how you treat it! What do you want to do with the car? If it will be mainly used for driving around town id use the R154, I had an ...

All sounds fine to me. Id say you still air loosing boost through a leak somewhere, perhaps it's the intercooler as Ruffy suggested. Just because you have "proper" hoses doesn't mean they are tightened up correctly.

easy way to fix this is move the pressre sensing hose for the waistegate to after the cooler, so it compensates for the extra plumbing...turbo will boost till manifold down stream is spec instead of turbo upstream of cooler Andrew And you will wear the turbo out quicker cause it is turning much ...

Thats incorrect. The bigger the intercooler the colder the air and the more power you can make, what a larger intercooler causes is more lag or response time as there is more volume the turbo needs to fill before reaching the engine. a 3.5 psi drop sounds too much, 1 psi is about the most you would ...

You are nearly there :)

You can also get a bellhousing from dellow to mate the 1UZFE to R51* or W/G5* boxes, although the quality is usually a little lacking.

Yeah as the guys said looks like the vac lines havent been connected. On the other issue I always understood that if you just engaged the Low Range lever you were doing just that, only changing the drive ratio in the T/C. The T/C was not locked or 4WD engaged only until the button was pushed on the ...

Goes extremely well in my 1700kg Bundy. But lugging round 2+ tonne 80 series landcruiser would be a bit of a task.

Screw the zook, put one in a bundy :D

Thanks for the advise. Those split boots are a great idea. The one shown wouldnt fit my hubs but im sure someone else would make a suitable one. I assume the seal is one piece so you have to remove the entire hub assembly?

If thats the case ill give it a degrease and loosen and tighten the bolts to make it look like ive replaced the seal :)

Bundera front swivel hub seals??

I swapped in a 1JZGTE, not particularly easy. There is sump/diff clearance issues requiring custom sump and of course custom engine mounts. Can get a bellhousing to suit in Australia from Dellow though the quality is very average. Length is an issue so had to use a thin alloy radiator and a 16 ...

$863.50 per corner, that would be the gold plated guards yeah?

ARB was a no go, id say TJM wouldn't have them either.

It's a little rough but no big deal. Dellow service can be pretty pathetic so everyone then bad mouths their stuff. The only problem I had was that the dellow supplied thrust bearing carrier was to small ID to fit over my input shaft, I had to machine some out. I suppose these things shouldnt happen ...

1JZGTE has R154.

No need to say Nuts! Dellow make the bellhousing to suit the 160mm input shaft.

My LJ71 is now 1JZGTE with R151f and dellow housing.

2JZ-GE comes with W58 2JZ-GTE comes with Getrag V160 or V161 6 speed 2JZ-GE is mainly found in the soarer and supra so id say nearly 100% of them would be rear sump. However the 1JZ front sump is interchangeable but hard to find as they are used by all the MX83 cressida and MA61 supra 1J conversions.

No apparently they do not have any info. When the application for vehicle modification is submitted to DPI, they ask you many questions such as Tare, GVM, original rim and tyre size, wheelbase, engine power etc. You then need to provide them with the proof that these figures were not just made up ...

Does anyone have a copy, or an already scanned copy of the Bundera LJ70 or Japanese Prado LJ71 sales broucheres, specification pages from service manuals etc. Reasoning being is to get my car registered with the 1JZ fitted, the Department of Transport needs proof of the original rim sizes, engine ...

I really don't know if the 7MGTE clutch and flywheel will be compatible on the 7mge.

I think youd better post on toymods exactly what you want to do to get an exact answer to all of this.

I think you will be fine with a heavy duty 7MGE type clutch, full face organic sprung centre type. I believe this cause your hilux probably weighs slightly less than a MA70 Supra or MX80? Cressida and your power output is still standard. Just make sure you buy a brand new clutch for it!!!!! Brass ...
